Having worked closely with Sarah Le Cheminant (Taylor Wessing&#8217;s Head of Brand), we saw an opportunity to create a distinct visual and linguistic identity for the conference aligning to the idea of &#8220;Gateways to Growth.&#8221; The idea of the &#8220;gateway&#8221; became central to our thinking. A metaphor for new possibilities.
Our tech and production teams created a high impact plenary space for the conference&#8217;s core content, all beautifully lit, sequenced and choreographed. The biophilic set design and broader scenography brought a sense of calm to proceedings while subtly alluding to the central theme of growth. Throughout the venue there were liminal references to hope, endeavour and new opportunities. We worked in tandem with those presenting the conference&#8217;s key content to land their messages in the most human way possible supported by leading Maestro, Jeri Lynne Johnson, whose external keynote address reaffirmed Taylor Wessing&#8217;s commitment to collaboration, team performance, intentional leadership and diversity of perspectives – landed brilliantly through the lens of music and conducting.
There were social moments to break bread, listen to music, watch football, take in a carefully designed offbeat tour of Amsterdam. Human moments which created the space for barriers to break down and for human connection to happen. Moments for those attending to encounter new perspectives, opportunities to spend time together beyond the transaction.

Held in Amsterdam, and bringing together over 400 Global Partners from across the firm, our job was to work collaboratively with the Taylor Wessing team to:

Redefining Global Collaboration for Taylor Wessing's International Partner Conference

Experience

Throughout the summer, three incredible artists &#8211; Amara Por Dios, Lois O’Hara and Jo Hicks are adding to the maze artwork with a series of live murals with the last one to be completed during the London Mural Festival, ensuring maximum exposure and footfall. Chilean-Swedish artist Amara Por Dios kick-started the activation with ‘Blooming Together’ &#8211; a design showcasing her signature style, inclusive of bright colour clashes, floral motifs and abstract faces which draw inspiration from global folk art, drawing attention to London’s diversity.
The launch came accompanied by live music, refreshing drinks, and opportunities for guests to capture shareable moments. Our goal of securing regional press coverage and sparking social media buzz was successfully achieved, with notable features in publications like <a href="https://londonist.com/london/things-to-do/maze-brent-cross-town" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Londonist</a> and <a href="https://secretldn.com/art-maze-brent-cross-london/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Secret London</a>. 
The Maze’s design uses a modular screwed timber frame system, allowing for 95% of the material to be repurposed at the installation’s conclusion. The artworks, painted on fabric, will eventually be repositioned on Brent Cross Town’s extensive hoardings.
The Maze not only offered a captivating experience for visitors but also effectively communicated the spirit and values of Brent Cross Town. By encouraging community engagement, artistic collaboration, and media visibility, our immersive activation successfully positioned Brent Cross Town as a vibrant destination within London’s ever-evolving cultural landscape.

Building a London community through immersive experiences

Guests embarked on a journey through Inflexion&#8217;s history within the captivating Turbine Hall and Bridge at the Tate Modern. With so many large corporate events often taking place in function rooms and hotels that look very similar, Inflexion strategically chose the Tate Modern &#8211; one of London’s most iconic buildings and a hub of creativity and innovation, showing their network that they break boundaries in comparison to the typical private equity firm. As a site renowned for hosting exceptional works of contemporary art, the venue also exuded an air of exclusivity as the doors closed to the public for this extraordinary celebration.
Stilt walkers welcomed attendees, who were met with a stunning champagne wall and the breathtaking sight of aerialists gracefully moving along the towering walls of the Turbine Hall, accompanied by captivating projections showcasing Inflexion&#8217;s evolution. A light was shone on Inflexion’s partnership with the Roundhouse with three of their incredible jazz acts serenading guests on the red carpet. Thanks to Inflexion, the Roundhouse has opened Roundhouse Works, a new creative centre helping young people with their businesses and careers in the creative industries, with the Inflexion Workspace inside the centre providing an affordable co-working space for young entrepreneurs.
Other details throughout the evening included a concealed curtain unveiling a glamorous speakeasy, offering a sensory feast ranging from edible delights to moonshine fountains. The dinner was complemented by inspirational speeches from Inflexion&#8217;s Co-Founders and Managing Partners &#8211; John Hartz and Simon Turner alongside Florencia Kassai, the Partner leading Inflexion&#8217;s Buyout Fund. This evening full of marvels stood out from the usual corporate scene, showing Infexion’s creativity, innovation and expertise, ensuring they left a mark as a world-leading player in the private equity space.

For their 25th anniversary, Inflexion entrusted us with the task of conceptualising and executing a truly distinctive celebratory event. The goal was to unite their extensive network, highlighting the firm&#8217;s remarkable journey over the last 25 years while providing a glimpse into an even more promising future. Inflexion wanted the evening to break the mould of the typical corporate environment to foster a sense of fun and encourage escapism from the everyday grind that guests can get caught up in. This set the event and their business aside from others in the Finance industry as one that pushes the norm.

Enter Frameless: an extraordinary, immersive art experience, and the largest permanent multi-sensory installation of its kind in the UK. As a forward thinking venue who use technology in an interesting way, we recommended Frameless as the event venue to strategically align Adyen with one of London’s most popular cultural hotspots. This breathtaking setting provided the perfect backdrop for Adyen&#8217;s event, underscoring the company&#8217;s commitment to staying ahead of the curve.
The event showcased Adyen&#8217;s fintech leadership through thought-provoking panel discussions, including &#8220;The Future of Digital Payments.&#8221; Esteemed industry experts such as Adrian Davis &#8211; VP Commercial Strategy, Adyen, Calvin Chen &#8211; Head of Card Strategy &amp; Partnerships, Flywire, James Pearson &#8211; Head of RA, Fraud &amp; Payments, Lebara, and Amit Mallick &#8211; Global Open Finance Lead, Accenture, led these engaging conversations.
Two interactive activation areas were crafted in the gallery to offer guests firsthand experiences with Adyen&#8217;s cutting-edge technology, further reinforcing the company&#8217;s innovative prowess. By seamlessly blending art, technology, and thought leadership, The Adyen Experience at Frameless proved to be a defining moment for the brand, setting the stage for a transformative year ahead.

<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Rhubarb &#8211; our climate-responsible caterer provided locally sourced, seasonal food options for the event in exact quantities for the guest number, minimising food waste and food miles. No red meat was used to reduce emissions.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">We minimised transport emissions as much as possible through the careful planning of supplier transportation.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Material resources were efficiently managed by repurposing items and utilising digital solutions for elements such as signage, with minimal production of new items.</li>

One of the main objectives of this exclusive event was to unite and inspire enterprise sales and marketing leaders with ideas and solutions to kickstart innovation and help attendees better solve their day-to-day pipeline and revenue creation challenges. Our meticulous planning ensured smooth operations and an engaging day, leaving participants free to absorb the wealth of knowledge and networking opportunities available.
Attendees had the opportunity to participate in 1:1 revenue clinic sessions, in-depth workshops and training, panel discussions, and hands-on product demos. Inspire featured commentary from global brands including LinkedIn, Amplience, Cora Systems, and Trend Micro. Sessions were led by senior members of 6sense including Beyond Demand Gen: Powering Up Your Pipeline with Demand Orchestration by Chris Dutton &#8211; VP of Marketing Operations, Proceed with Confidence by Latané Conant &#8211;  Chief Revenue Officer, and The Key to Unlocking Engaging ABM Ads by Nikki Gloudeman &#8211; Director of Creative Services.
Following the success of Inspire, we have been appointed as a partner of 6sense and will be working closely with them on developing their marketing and experiential campaign strategy in 2024.

With a focus on innovation and solution-focused perspectives and content, the key theme of the conference was around how, despite challenging times, Women’s Aid can together build a strong and future-fit federation that continues to provide safety and support for survivors for as long as it is needed.
We donated the Marble team’s time and skills to support the production of the event which included a wide range of key notes, panels and workshops with practical solutions for key policy and practice issues that impact services and the survivors they work with and for every day.
We have also factored in ongoing fundraising activities to our office calendar and so have so far hosted a clothes swap in partnership with Great Western Studios &#8211; our studio provider, a bake off and Women’s Aid’s 1.7 challenge month, all coordinated by our Culture Club who have taken the lead on this charity partnership.

For 5 years we have supported firstminute capital with our 360 services for the Investor Summit, including creative and technical production, project management, event design and delivery, and producing marketing collateral.
In 2022 we also revamped the entire brand’s visual identity. firstminute capital acts as a community platform and connects start-ups and their founders with the right Venture Capitalists and helps them to secure funding. We therefore focused on showcasing the importance of firstminute’s strong sense of community values and individuality, with the founder being at the centre of the brand. Once the new brand direction had been established, we managed the website redesign and started working on translating the new identity into the assets and production for the Investor Summit.
