As an experiential agency, we exist to create meaningful human connections. But we’ve always wanted those moments to go beyond engagement.

This milestone is more than just a certification, it’s a formal recognition of something that’s guided us since day one: the belief that business should be a force for good.

Certified by B Lab, the nonprofit behind the global B Corp movement, this certification verifies that Marble meets rigorous standards across social and environmental impact, accountability, and transparency. It’s not about being “green” or “ethical”, it’s about legally committing to balancing purpose and profit in everything we do.

We’re now part of a growing global community of over 9,700 B Corps, including well-known brands like Patagonia, Innocent Drinks, The Guardian, and The Big Issue, all working to change the way business operates for the better.

For us, this journey didn’t begin with an application. It started much earlier, rooted in our values and our roots. As Emi Perez-Fragero, our COO and Co-Founder, explains:

“What started as a personal commitment from each of us four founders has grown into a company-wide ethos over the past decade. We founded Marble to bring our passions together, from the UK festival scene and luxury comms to the countryside we love, and to represent changemakers who want to have a real, lasting impact on people and planet.

Growing up in rural areas, our founding team shared a sense of awe for nature, but also a guilt about the waste and excess so often found in events and marketing. That tension sparked a question: How can we create moments that make things better, not worse?

Our B Corp certification is part of our answer. It’s how we hold ourselves accountable and continue building an agency where sustainability and creativity go hand-in-hand.”

Check out the clip below to hear Emi’s honest take on our sustainability journey and its significance in the broader industry context.

The events world is still playing catch-up when it comes to sustainability, and we want to help lead the way.

Our B Corp certification is part of a broader mission: to transform an industry traditionally known for its waste into one that is transparent, responsible, and future-focused. The B Corp assessment process is rigorous. It evaluates every part of our business, from how we treat our team and collaborate with our community, to how we work with suppliers and serve clients. Most importantly, it embeds our commitment to purpose into our company’s legal DNA.

With our ISO 14001 and ISO 20121 accreditations recently recertified and partnerships with industry leaders such as isla and Business Declares, we feel confident we’re getting somewhere. Becoming a B Corp affirms that and challenges us, our clients, and our industry.

Chris Turner, Executive Director of B Lab UK, shared:

“We are delighted to welcome Marble to the B Corp community. This is a movement of companies that are committed to changing how business operates. We know Marble will be a fantastic addition and help drive the conversation forward.”

We embed sustainability into our creative process, never as a box to tick, but as a guiding principle. See more on that here. Every event comes with a full impact report, measuring its footprint across energy, water, transport, suppliers, and materials, all mapped against the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

We also partner closely with our clients to help them meet their environmental goals, providing the guidance, tools, and operational support they need to create experiences with real impact.

Joining the B Corp community is both a celebration and a challenge. We’re proud of this recognition, and even more excited for what comes next. To our clients, partners, and incredible team, thank you.
