The challenge

To show that Henkel dx Ventures are at the forefront of new digital technologies and to announce their long term investment thesis, which includes a focus on Digital Commerce & Sustainability in the new and exciting world of the Metaverse and Web3.

Uniting Venture Capitalists (VCs) as well as C-Suite guests from technology and investment sectors, which included Adobe, Microsoft Germany, Resident Advisor and Porsche Digital.

We supported the client with conceptualisation and content curation, utilising a wide range of immersive technologies including a virtual talk delivered via an Avatar, by a multidisciplinary creative futurist & technologist Samantha Tauber (CEO of VNCCII). There was also a live VR gaming demo delivered by AJ ‘Dr Doom’ Shewki (Co-founder & CEO of LIV) and NFT digital souvenirs for guests to takeaway that also featured AR capabilities.

 

The event programme included discussions on why the Metaverse matters, what the future of the experience retail in a web3 world will look like and how will the Metaverse reframe human-centric experience. These concluded with a panel discussion on navigating the opportunities and challenges in the Our Metaverse Future, involving guest speakers Jens Hilgers (Founding General Partner, BITKRAFT Ventures), AJ “Dr. Doom” (Co-Founder & CEO, LIV),  Natasha Wallace (EMEA Strategy Lead Web 3 & Metaverse, The Brandtech Group), moderated by Christoph Keese, (Co-CEO of hy).​ Guests were then invited to network and exchange their views over delicious food & drink and entertainment from our DJ.
