We were asked to showcase Taylor Wessing’s challenger role within their sector; challenging expectations, advising disruptors, doing things differently and supporting innovation.
Taylor Wessing advises more tech companies, VC investors and start-ups than anyone else. The internationally renowned law firm is a market leader in the tech, media and comms sector, they approached us to curate an experience that consolidates that position and builds reputation around it.
To tackle the brief we kicked off with a series of design thinking workshops in order to truly understand the DNA of Taylor Wessing- the people within it. Both stakeholders and clients. With this we were then armed with the insight to deliver targeted experiential campaigns. The first in this campaign: The Taylor Wessing Re|Form conference. An afternoon to inspire much needed change, spark interesting conversations and bring together their global ecosystem.
An under-the-radar wine cellar, which was once London’s first train station, set the stage for the first conference in the Taylor Wessing Re|Form series.
Tapping into the convergence of ecommerce, fintech, content platforms and real estate, this live experience united key industry experts and influencers from across these sectors to discuss the “never normal” for the consumer facing brands, and the ecosystem that supports them.
The expert panel session included Azeem Azhar, a breakthrough thinker on the impact of technologies on society; Valentina Milanova, founder of DAYE, a women’s health research and development company on a mission to close the gender pay gap; Julian Cordineu, an investor at Felix Capital focusing on SaaS and gaming investments; and Jude Ower, founder & CEO of Playmob, and co-founder of the Playing for the Planet Alliance.
Following the talks, guests enjoyed a 3 course meal curated by zero waste chef from Silo, Douglas McMaster. All captured by photographer, director & writer Mike Figgis, most famous for his 1996 film ‘Leaving Las Vegas’ which was nominated for four Academy Awards.
The Re|Form event is just the start of a programme of activations, with Taylor Wessing briefing a further two events this autumn following the success of the first edition.
What stands out most though is that this is an agency that really appreciates that business is all about people and personalities, and that only by finding the point of human connection can you really discover something extraordinary. Thank you!”
