Marble were brought on as an extension of the Informa Tech team to help them deliver a series of inspiring conferences across the city for London Tech Week 2021. Informa influences the tech community to design, build and run a better digital future. They educate and connect the technology ecosystem through world-class research, training and events.
At this year’s London Tech Week, we were joined by some of the brightest minds in tech and key changemakers in the industry: Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London; Hillary Clinton, Former US Secretary of State; Sebastian Siemiatkowski, CEO of Klarna; and Stephen Fitzpatrick, Founder of OVO, Kaluza, & Vertical Aerospace were just some of the individuals who joined us.
Marble helped elevate the festival, with our experiential teams on site at Samsung King’s Cross, Havas King’s Cross, 240 Blackfriars and County Hall, delivering a multitude of events simultaneously.
- 5 days of content
- 300 sessions
- 200 speakers
- 20,000 attendees
- 330k social media interactions
- 263 pieces of press coverage
- 2.6 billion online impressions
We assisted in delivering 7 events across London during the week-long festival, spanning virtual, physical and hybrid formats, delivering all of these services in a 4 week turnaround.
After a year of conversations with Informa about a potential partnership, we were thrilled to have joined their internal team to collaborate at one of the leading global tech events. The spaces were hyper-focused around connection building and networking, uniting the global tech ecosystem to inspire impactful innovation, building a better digital world for both business and society. One of the central components of this was looking at how the climate crisis can be addressed using innovative tech solutions – a key pillar of how Marble operate and an area we were excited to be involved in this year.
London Tech Week gathers the world’s most inspirational founders, global leaders, senior investors and rising stars to collaborate and discuss the vital role of technology in society. As well as politicians including Oliver Dowden MP, we also provided the platform for leading businesses such as IBM, Intel UK, Condé Nast, London & Partners, and the NHS to share their thoughts on the future of the tech industry. We heard discussions on the investment landscape for women, the future of EdTech, achieving the global net-zero using technology, and even addressing a work-life balance using tech solutions. Check out the full agenda here.
The festival successfully showcased how tech is transforming both business and society by driving important conversations around transformation, diversity and innovation. We are looking forward to working on our next venture with Informa, preparing for TU Auto Tech Week Detroit, AI Summit, IOT World Silicon Valley and Africa Tech Festival.
“Well, what can I say - we did it! Thank you all so much for the amount of work and effort you put into delivering LTW - whether it be physical or virtual, you all completely smashed it! We certainly couldn’t have done it without you. It was truly an amazing feat to be able to pull off so many events in one week and you were all pivotal in helping to make that happen so heartfelt thanks from us to you all.” Kelly Southam, Operations Director, Informa
