Challenge

The Henkel dx Ventures Xpartners conference series unites partners and collaborators from their global ecosystem to network and knowledge share, including influential business leaders, corporates, entrepreneurs and investors. As their ongoing live experience partner we were tasked with designing and producing the virtual event, and to provide a content and programme strategy to help identify the event topic, create and curate the event agenda based on the event aim, and identify and book speakers.

Xpartners highlights:

  • 245 attendees
  • 86% attendance rate
  • 21 speakers
  • 117 minutes – avg. time on the platform
  • 121 votes cast in the live polls
  • 52 questions asked

Solution

After multiple content workshops, we settled on the event topic: The H-Factor of Digitalization, with the aim to explore the human side of digital transformation. This was also designed to open up a conversation about how meaningful change is not only about technology, but how it’s also reliant on human endeavour. After the success of the Xathon female hackathon in November 2020, we hosted Xpartners on another instance of our virtual event platform. This featured separate areas for industry experts, speakers, entrepreneurs, investors and guests to view all profiles and network.

In the lead up to the event, we delivered 150 branded hampers to the first guests who RSVP’ed on our bespoke virtual events platform. Immersing guests in the event programme from the outset, the hampers included branded stationary alongside delicious snacks and beverages for the evening masterclasses and networking. In tandem, we launched the content hub on the virtual event platform in advance, this hosted curated content including articles, podcasts and videos from key industry changemakers.

We kicked off the half day conference with wellness classes for those wanting to start fresh and officially opened the day with a warm welcoming note. The agenda was filled with insightful and empowering fireside chats and panels and some of the key speakers included Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia and Marty Cagan, founder of the Silicon Valley Product Group and author of EMPOWERED: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Products. The inspiring talks were fuelled by Q&As and comments from the live chat, and live polling fed into the panel content too.

The conference sparked many meaningful connections and a wealth of attendee and content analysis, all to help provide direction for future Xpartners and Xchange events this year.
