Challenge
To help bring a unified look across the Founders Forum events internationally, whilst providing several production items for a strong brand and sponsor presence. This included coordinating Founders Forum sponsors: HSBC, Bain & Company, Financial Times, Alvarium, Henkel, SoftBank, Knotel, Sky, Dentsu Aegis, TPG, Smaato, Havas Health & You, Lakestar, Osborne Clarke, London Stock Exchange, Elite. We were also required to deliver structures and installations from the London flagship event to unify the feel & look and the identity of the brand through all FF events around the globe.
Solution
The areas worked on by our team were designed to maximise network and serendipity between the guests of Founders Forum, structuring clear paths and a balance with the existing decor of the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge.
The Marble LDN team organised and coordinated cross-atlantic transportation of bespoke Founders Forum hexagon structures and registration desks over to Brooklyn (New York), in time for the Founders Forum event. As we continue to work with the Founders Forum team in the production of their international events, we are reusing these custom-made installations in order to fulfil Founders Forum and Marble LDN’s sustainability goals. The structures we originally designed and built for one of FF signature sessions ‘Meet the Chair/CEO’ were conceived to host quick chats between the forum’s guests and the Chairs/CEOs structuring meaningful conversations sometime leading to partnerships and deals.
The Founders Forum iconic structure (2 metres by 3 metres) was also part of the shipment and was installed strategically in the social space of the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bride, giving full exposure to Founders Forum’s sponsors and partners.
Additionally, we managed the branded registration desks which were also used during the FF event in London earlier that year. They featured magnetic tops and were designed by Marble LDN. These desks were used to greet attendees and assist them with their experience at the forum.
We proudly introduced at Founders Forum New York 2019 the usage of Orca boards. In order to align with Founders Forum’s sustainability commitments, we built custom recycling bins positioned on registration desks, for the delegates’ badges in order for them to be disassembled and recycled for further usage. The bins were made using Orca boards from our friends at Orca Sound Project; these boards are created from 100% recycled ocean plastic. We plan to incorporate Orca boards in future FF events.
The 8th edition of Founders Forum New York had a great line-up of inspiring talks and brainstorming sessions featuring key players from the tech ecosystem such as Reid Hoffman (Linkedin Co-Founder); Ariana Huffington (Huffington Post Co-Founder); Esther Perel and many more. After a great event in NYC 2019, we are thrilled to be collaborating with Founders Forum again in 2020 with their annual London event.
