The annual flagship event gathers the wide fmc community from start-up and venture capital ecosystems, for a day of industry leaders conversations, business and start-up insights and networking opportunities for the founders to investors to connect during the day.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- 331 attendees
- 52 speakers
- 11 keynote/panel sessions
- 80 global multi stage funds attended
Solution
Marble acted as an extension to the brand’s Head of Community; consulting and providing creative design solutions for the rebrand. firstminute capital acts as a community platform and connects start-ups and their founders with the right Venture Capitalists and helps them to secure funding. We therefore focused on showcasing the importance of firstminute’s strong sense of community values and individuality, with the founder being at the centre of the brand.
Once the new brand direction had been established, we managed the website redesign and started working on translating the new identity into the assets and production for the Investor Summit. We transformed The Londoner hotel into the firstminute hub, designing the stage and networking lounge, creating signage, and coordinating the design and branding of collateral including the Investor Summit booklet. On the day of the event, the Marble team was on hand to oversee the production and the smooth running of the experience. The programme consisted of a series of intimate ancillary events for the founders on Day 1, that led to a networking evening and dinner at Wild By Tart that kicked off the Investor Summit the following day. On Day 2, through a range of inspiring keynotes, panel talks and portfolio bursts, over 250 attendees were offered an array of insightful content from the latest industry news. Topics included the climate crisis, the future of health tech, investing vs. funding, recession or recovery, and cultivating culture in a crisis. The programme was broken up with networking breaks and culminated with an evening reception to encourage connections between attendees. The event enabled the founders to be part of a bigger entrepreneurial community, learning from high calibre entrepreneurs, investors and philanthropists.
